Our Leadership

Bishops Committee

The Bishops Committee is the governing body of the church. We are a group of a group of lay people elected by a parish to act as its legal representative and guide the church's mission, property, and finances. At St. John’s, each member commits to a three year term and is responsible for attending monthly meetings during their term. Their purpose is to serve God and the church and work closely with the rector to define the mission and direction of the parish.
